OUR STAFF

Jim

As the owner of AIS Performance I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and my staff. My father’s career was spent life-long with the US military upon which he retired in 1965. Most of my early childhood was spent in the Philippines and Africa. At the age of 10 my parents settled in central Ohio. After high school I enlisted in the Army and spent six years of which two were in Germany. In my next phase of professional life, I was hired with the first ever wave of associates of a new and premiere automobile plant in the US for Honda of America Manufacturing. I held several positions while working for Honda including trips to Japan for training. The majority of my time was spent in Quality Assurance. It was this experience that inspired me to look beyond offering standard vehicle maintenance and repair services. I foresaw the need for pre-purchase inspection of used cars. In 1989, I left Honda and started my own business inspecting and repairing automobiles. Now, I currently employ four associates and run a successful business. I also have ASE master certifications in automotive repair. My goal for this business is to provide good old-fashioned service in which the customer is treated number one. Along with that I am honest and very fair with pricing. Given the chance we at AIS Performance will serve you well.

Joseph (Joe)

Joe is my son who since childhood has been working closely in the shop with his father. His last two years of high school were spent at Tolles Technical School automotive program. Joe was selected to represent the school in the state troubleshooting contest and graduated as an Outstanding Senior. Upon graduation he attended University of Northwestern Ohio and received an associate of applied science degree in automotive high performance. While attending Northwestern Joe was selected as a troubleshooting finalist. Joe is ASE master certified in automotive repair.

Michael (Brooksy)

Brooksy has several years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance. Therefore, he is our welding and fabrication associate. He handles all custom exhaust and brake system applications. His attention to detail and quality standards far exceed expectations. Brooksy attended Delaware JVS for machine trades. After graduation he returned to JVS for addition adult classes in the machine trade.

Ralph

Ralph’s background is in construction and home repair. Ralph takes care of general maintenance and expansion projects. Ralph’s overall knowledge makes him a very valuable asset to our company.
